A strikingly beautiful fast growing upright variety 4'wide and 6 to 8' tall. Has dark purple black foliage and pretty, fragrant bright pink flowers in the spring. Productive of dark black berries that ripen in late summer. Can be grown in sun or shade, but color is darkest in a sunny location. Hardy zones 4-9.
