A hybrid of our native Red mulberry(Morus rubra) and the White mulberry (Morus alba), that was bred by AJ Bullard in North Carolina. Fruit is very tasty and dark black in color, similar to Illinois Everbearing but larger and said to have better flavor, Can handle both drought and humidity, making it widely adapted to many climates. Tough tree is hardy zones 5-9.
