Steuben produces medium to large blue black slipskin grapes that have a sweet spicy flavor. This American variety was developed by the New York State Agricultural Experiment Station and is a cross of Wayne and Sheridan. Very resistant to cold and disease it is excellent for fresh eating, juice and wine. Hardy zones 4-9.
