Native to the central and northeastern US it is also known as Hackberry and Nettletree. It generally grows from 40 to 60' tall, but in good soils can reach heights to 100'. Known to be a very tough and easy to grow tree, it is very productive of sweet tasy fruits that are cherished by man and beast alike. Hardy zones 3-9.
