A hybrid of the popular Cox's Orange Pippin and Court Pendo Plat, this English apple won the Award of Garden Merit given by the Royal Horticultural Society in 1999. The large attractive fruit has a golden yellow background that is flushed and streaked with orange red. The creamy yellow flesh is crisp, juicy and intensely flavorful. Good for cooking, cider and fresh eating. A low chill variety hardy zones 6-9.
