A cross of the European pear Tennessee and the Asian pear Hosui, it has large round shaped fruit like Hosui, but with a more European pear type flavor, very sweet and good textured. Resistant to fireblight and does well in the south where some pear varieties can struggle. Hardy zones 5-9.
