A type of Siberian crabapple it is yellow with bright red cheeks. Excellent for sauces, cooking, jelly and is very popular for making cider. It opens its fragrant pink and white blooms early, followed by late ripening fruit that keeps well and is ornamental hanging on the tree. A low chill variety, originated in Europed in 1844. Hardy zones 4-10.
