A beautiful and ornamental small hardy tree native to northern China. All parts of the plant are edible, leaves, flowers and nuts, which are the size of a large pea and produced several to a pod. Pretty clusters of white flowers in the spring. Grows up to 20+ feet tall. Hardy zones 4-8.
