A beautiful evergreen tree native to the Klamath Mountains of California and Oregon. While now restricted to a small native range it is widely adaptable to many climates and makes an excellent ornamental and forestry tree with many uses. Long lived trees have excellent wood that is highly prized for many woodworking purposes. The tree makes an excellent windbreak and is a standout in most any landscape.
