Also known as Western Ninebark it is native from Alaska south to southern California. An easy to grow and year around attractive shrub with pretty clusters of white flowers in the spring, it's maple like deciduous leaves that turn gold in the fall and reddish peeling bark giving interest in the winter. Tough shrub can grow to 6 to 10 feet if not pruned.
