A very gourmet variety from the north of Italy, Violetto is prized for it's elongated violet blushed flower buds that grow up to 5 inches long. Vigorous strong growing plants can bear for many years and are abundant producers. Tends to produce it's crop a bit later than Green Globe making it good as a season extender. Hardy zone 6-9.
