This classic English apple originated around 1825 and has enthralled apple lovers ever since with its intense and rich flavor. Beautiful orange-red blush over a yellow background. Taste is complex with hints of mango and orange, great for fresh eating, pies, cider and sauce. Ripens in late September. Upright spreading tree is very cold tolerant, hardy zones 4-8.
