This Morus nigra variety has big glossy black fruit that is very intensely flavored and similar to other Persian mulberry varieties. Said to be somewhat smaller and more compact growing than other Persian varieties and can be kept as a small tree or large bush. As with other Persian mulberry varieties it is difficult to root from cuttings and usually best grafted. Hardy zones 7-10.
